Google Tag Manager

1 - Log in to the Google Tag Manager with your Google account.

2 - Create a new container: Click on "Create account" in the top right corner. Important: You must use the URL of your form as container name. You can find it under your forms in the tracking settings. Now complete the container creation successfully.

3 - Now copy your GTM ID and paste it into the designated field in the smashleads™ dashboard under "My Forms". The GTM-ID looks like this most of the time: "GTM-WL8XNW".

You do not need to insert this code, because it is automatically generated by us. So just ignore it.

Check if everything has been set up correctly:

To see live changes, click on the "Preview" button in the upper right corner of the Google Tag Manager. Then you can go back to the page where the lead generator is integrated and update it. A GTM debugging console will open. If you now click on the previously defined icon, a tag should be fired.
