1 - You must have smashleads™ connected to your Google Tag Manager account. If you don't have this yet, you can find the appropriate instructions here.
2 - You need a Facebook Business account, with one active Facebook pixel. Click here for the appropriate guide.
Important: When you connect the Facebook pixel, you cannot have Google Analytics connected to smashleads™ at the same time.
In the Google Tag Manager go to the tab "Tags" and create a tag by clicking the button "New". In the tag configuration you can select the Facebook pixel in the gallery.
Add your Facebook pixel in the next step. In our example we define the form call or the pageview as event. Important: This is only the event name, which is displayed in your Facebook Analytics account. Which event of your forms you want to track depends on the trigger.
In the advanced settings you can still set the value to "Unlimited" in the tag triggering options.
Track form Calls If you want to measure the calls of your form with the Facebook pixel, set the trigger "All Pages - Pageview" for the tag.
Save the tag and publish it to your Google Tag Manager account by clicking the send button.
